“Laces lock at ankle before lacing higher up if you can figure out how to do it. There is no diagram. Plenty of room in my size for thick winter wool socks. Not enouogh arch support for me, will try different insoles. Good quality soft leather, but will still need some break-in. Tall, Gore Tex boots should be great in snow. Not too hot to wear all day, moving inside and out in cold weather. Great price for top notch boots.”
