“My husband measured XL 47 1/2" , but we got 2 xl and am glad we did. He hates to lean forward and feel it pull on the shoulders. Very warm for walking when it is below zero and for ice fishing. Keeps the wind out. This is not a compact, packable coat, but it is perfect for cold weather. The hood is too bulky to use when he plows, because he can not get it out of the way to see behind him. Would give it a 5 if the hood zipped off.”
