Smooth leather upper is held atop a stacked leather outsole with durable Goodyear welted stitches that are easily repairable for as long as you own the boots.

Heel is lower than a cowboy boot, which I liked - more like a normal boot's heel height. Arch support seemed a little high, but I am confident that it will break in. The leather seems like really, really high quality - I would also expect that to break in well. Runs a little big. I wear an 11.5 and the 11 was still a bit loose when new and stiff. Expect to get some blisters early on but to also be really pleased with these in the long haul.

These run a size larger than normal. My husband wears an eleven but had to send back for a 10..and the were still big but nothing a thicker sock wouldn't fix.
