This are really nice boots. They pull on; there is no zipper, which is harder for people with a high instep. They are a nice balance between the elegance of a high heel without being a spike heel. These are lovely boots--they look well made, nice heel, great sole for snowy weather--I just can't wear them. I have a 16" calf and they were just too tight at the top. I wish STP would post calf circumference like they do on Zappos. Overall, if you have thinner calves these would be great.

This are really nice boots. They pull on; there is no zipper, which is harder for people with a high instep. They are a nice balance between the elegance of a high heel without being a spike heel. But they are definitely narrow, which does not work for me. If I could have ordered a 1/2 size larger, that might have worked, but without a zipper, I opted not to. Since there is no zipper, they are not at all tapered around the ankle, but straight from the top of the boot all the way down.

I ordered the 10 and they were too small. Nice looking, but also a little tight in the calf. If you have thinner legs, they would probably be fine.
If you normally wear a 9 or 9.5, they may fit.
    Wish they had fit me!

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
