I had high hopes for the Timberland design and the "slide" sandal. However, the fact that I have a size 13 foot notwithstanding, the rear-most strap is too loose and I was too concerned about keeping the sandal on my feet when I walked. In only took a few walk through's in my house to know that these sandals were not what I'd hoped for... I hate to return the product, but I have no choice, they just do not work. -Sorry.
    • Best Uses: Best to return product
    • Cons: Design was flawed, Made walking clumsy, Not a good sandal, Rear strapping was loose, Would not stay on feet

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
