They seem to be a little on the large size, but work well with thicker sucks.

The boots were plenty long, but too narrow. Technically I have medium width feet, but I'm developing bunions and these boots aggravate them. Too bad, they seem to be well made otherwise.

Nice darker brown color which will go with jeans, black pants or other colors. I will probably wear thinner socks with these in order to slip them on most easily. True to size. Toe area is comfortable.

So, I shopped around and low and behold Derailed! Derailed had these boots in an 8.5, & the price was amazing. What was more amazing was the 30% off and the shipping. The boots were just what I wanted upon arrival, a nice, rich burgundy color to wear all fall/ winter long. I have a wide foot, but I know with this leather boot they will stretch and give over time. But, immediately wearing out of the box, they were a bit hard go get on & off. They were t too tight on, considering my wide foot. I love these boots, as I am a chelsea boot lover. Great buy!

They are great with leggings and will be great with jeans and I could even wear them with a skirt.

They are one of the most comfortable pairs of boots I own and I have worn them both hiking and wandering around big city museums. They are still going strong after 3 years of use. I was thrilled to see these without the side zip for such a reasonable price. I got the cognac pair hopping they'd be more reddish than rust colored and they are. I could certainly wear them with browns but they also look great with wine and burgundy colored clothes. I ordered my normal 8.5, I am usually 8.5 or 39 in European sizes and they fit just fine. There is plenty of room to wear them with tights or a light to mid weight wool sock. I wore them straight out of the box and they were immediately comfortable. You do have to pull a bit to get them on but I have noticed they are softening up with each wearing. They are sturdy in construction but the style is fashionable enough to wear with skirts. I am also thrilled the boots use recycled materials.
