I really liked this boot, and had to think many days before I finally sent them back. The toe box is a little tight for my feet, and a heel accentuates that. I am considering ordering up a half size though, because I liked the style, the construction, the sole and they seemed quite comfortable overall.

I wanted a versatile ankle boot with some heel that I could wear with skirts/dresses and pants. These seemed to be just what I was looking for, and I found reviews online that raved about the comfort and quality of these boots. I wore them around the house for a few days, but I think I probably took them off when they started getting uncomfortable. The real test was when I wore them out for a day; I wish I had brought along a pair of back-up shoes, because after a few hours, my feet were killing me. These look great, but for me, it's better to feel good than to look good. I am sending them back.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
