Bought these before in brown and had to send back as they ran small. Then STP had a fantastic sale and only the gray were left in a 9 which is a 1/2 size bigger than I had ordered in brown. The extra 1/2 size works well for this.

I really love the look of these shoes, a little rugged on the soles and very feminine body. They are very well made with no shine to the leather. The problem I had was that with the narrowing toe, they were too tight. Both colors are beautiful and I am considering reordering. I usually take an 8 but as I get older I think I need an 8 1/2. These I would need to order in a 9 and put a pad in to stop the slide forward. (and the toe cracks do show, so if you want them hidden keep that in mind)

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
