I've eyeballed these for quite some time and saw them on various websites over the last year or so but did not want to pay top dollar. When I saw them here on STP, I was sold in a heartbeat! They are very well made, sturdy, sexy and stylish yet durable and have great traction. My only complaint is that they are a bit tight in the toe and for many it may not be an issue at all (because I can wear wide shoes). However, they are suede and if they are like my old suede booties that I'm replacing - they will stretch to total comfort in no time.

About Timberland

The Timberland footwear brand was officially launched in 1973, more than two decades after founder Nathan Swartz bought an interest in an established shoe company. Eight years earlier, the Swartz family had introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. Today, this revolutionary manufacturing process is still being used to fuse the soles and uppers of Timberland boots without stitching, a process that allows for truly waterproof boots. Over the years, Timberland shoes and boots have continued to advance, incorporating modern features like Active Comfort Technology to provide a balance of cushioning, support and climate control. In 2008, Timberland also became the first footwear company to commercialize the use of rubber from recycled tires.
