It all started in 1918 when Nathan Schwarz began his boot-making career as an apprentice stitcher in Boston, Massachusetts. After mastering the trade, he ventured out and bought the Abington Shoe Company and together with his sons, began manufacturing shoes for major retailers.     Very true to size but a bit snug at first. They conformed in two wearings...if that makes sense. I require comfort and support and these supply both.

    This is not a dainty shoe - but I really like it. They are comfortable enough to wear all day, look great with trousers. The leather on the toe does scuff very easily, though.
