“I prefer not to drive, so this bag gets used to carry whatever I need to get from point A to point B. Books, groceries, extra clothes, beer and/or picnic supplies all fit. The Large is a good size - not too huge, but big enough to carry as much weight as I'm comfortable with on my back. That said, it's not the most comfortable bag. The strap system can be awkward with larger loads and the lack of padding become obvious when you're carrying a couple cases of beer and ice. For me, this was a test to see if I like the one-strap style messenger bag. It's solid, but not amazing. Durability is tops. A big factor to consider is that, at least where I am, everybody has a Timbuk2 bag. Timbuk2 is a company based around bringing this sort of bag to the mainstream (they succeeded), so that's to be expected. All in all, a good purchase.”
