Love the pockets and the room. Just found the hip strap... hidden in a secret pocket and love it even more. So much more elegant than my backpack.

The bag is stable and comfortable while riding. I was concerned that it was too big initially, but haven't had any problems filling it up! Received positive comments about it at work. Great value.

I replaced a soft-sided attache case with this more hip messenger bag. I really like the quality and especially the fact that it's waterproof. Not as good for bulky items as the attache case but I suppose that's the essence of the messenger bag. Most of the pockets are pretty flat. One disappointment I have is that this model does not have a carrying handle. I hadn't even thought about it when I bought it but it is an important feature to be able to pick the bag up off a car seat and not have to use the long carrying strap. I see other models have been improved with this feature. I still like the bag and will keep it.

This bag is great for when I have to carry my essentials, and keeps me from over-packing! I do wish it was wider because when I put my MacBook in it, there is barely enough space for my water bottle. Also, the front flap is extended to it's limit when there is much more than the laptop in there.

This bag really surpassed my expectations. The small pockets for organization are fantastic- there are probably a dozen! Never lose my keys or lipgloss again! The main compartment is roomy- fits a textbook and a big binder, or two regular one inch binders and lunch. One separate compartment for a laptop (very little padding- not primary use. I would recommend putting your laptop in a neoprene sleeve). All in all, perfect graduate student bag, and awesome for the rainy East coast (waterproof). My back is much more comfortable than with other messenger bags, and it stays very stable when I ride my big. Very adjustable strap. The price on STP is fantastic! I prefer this size, and find it fits plenty- but I'm a very small person.

This is the highest quality messenger I had. You can notice it with every little detail, materials, pockets, terminations, handles, lockers, etc. And it's gorgeous. No cons.
