Timbuk2 Coder Laptop Bag - Medium, Herringbone

I purchased the Timbuk2 Coder laptop bag to carry my 13-inch MacBook for those instances when I need to travel light. The bag is perfect for this purpose and allows you to carry the bare necessities -- computer, iPhone cord, power brick, pad of paper, Kindle, and a few pens. Anything more and the bag will not close. Also, for anyone traveling by air from Canada to the US, this bag appears to meet the new carry-on limitations.

I am never disappointed with Timbuk2 products - they always have good design and great construction. This bag ended up being a little smaller than I anticipated but that's not a bad thing. It fits my 15" laptop just fine along with some documents and pens. It becomes a little cramped once you add in the laptop power supply,however. For me, this works fine for daily use as I have a docking station at home and at work and just go back and forth between the two.

This is used by my son to carry his Apple laptop to school, overnights and visits to friends. Enough room for power supply a few CD's, ipod and small cordless mouse. Got the Medium even though the small would have fit so he could transport extra items. Has a nice shoulder strap too. Would not use for a brief case, not enough room for files etc. Well padded.

I just bought a new HP DM3 (about the same size as a mac book). This bag is of the highest quality with great protection for your notebook. There is also just enough room for a MP3, keys, your passport and a magazine. It keeps you from overpacking!

Was looking for bag to carry 13inch laptop for short trips and use on airlines. Thos fits my needs well. Can get laptop and charger both in bag. Tight fit but this is what I needed.

This is a great lightweight well made carrying case for your laptop. Just don't expect to carry thick bulky items like large mp3 player, chargers, or mouse. Since I have everything at work and at home, it is a great lightweight bag to transport my laptop to and from work. My Nano is fine, just don't carry anything larger. There is room for pens, business cards, just a few pieces of papers and steno notebook. The back has room for a folded newspaper. Perfect for my needs and saves my back and shoulder as I used to use a backpack loaded with things that weighed 40+ lbs. It also does not look like I'm carry a computer bag so I'm not as paranoid in crowded areas.

This is a snug computer case; I was hoping for something to handle peripherals and a planner - at least. Perfect for anyone who just needs a laptop case and a few essentials (slim notebook, pens, phone), but if you want to carry a water bottle, book, or sandwich - this is not your bag. Upgrade to a Commuter. The herringbone material is SUPERCOOL, and makes this bag look professional and adult.
