Timbuk2 Commute Hemp Backpack - Medium

This backpack has a great padded laptop area, along with room for a notebook or a few files in the back section. The middle section is roomy enough for a jacket or other items. The top front pocket has internal organization pockets. The bottom front pocket also has organization pockets and easily holds my large Macbook power cord and a mouse. The best thing is that while it is a very practical bag with lots of room, it is not overly large and it looks nice. It is thinner than the "average" backpack allowing you to walk around much more comfortably while wearing it. I really like the fabric as well. I would definitely recommend this bag. It's a great laptop bag.

For a weekend trip or spare clothes and tools to work, it handles both jobs very well. Outside pockets are a bit shallow for pens, cables, AC brick and such.

I wasn't too excited about the color of this pack - until it arrived, that is! It is beautifully made, and it feels good to use a pack that is largely made of "green" materials. The computer sleeve is very protective and easy to get into, and there are lots of articulated spaces in the pack to hold do-dads. While the secondary large compartment could stand to be a tiny bit bigger, I hardly even notice that anymore as the pack is so well put-together. I give this baby an A+.
