Timbuk2 Commute Messenger Bag - Large

I use this bag for work, it keeps me organized and has a great padded compartment for the laptop. I do miss the stability strap that the older bags have. We'll see how it carry's when I commute to work...I also like the rubber lining for easy cleaning on the older bags. Overall though it's a great bag.

This is my second Timbuk2 bag. The first one was rainproof, which is important to me. But its laptop compartment was a tight fit for my 15-inch MacBook Pro. This one is large, and it will be easy to take out and put back my laptop when I go through airport security check points. In fact, its larger size was the only reason I bought it.

I bought this bag for my husband to carry his laptop and such. TimBuk2 bags are the best, I have one myself and they could not be better. The laptop area is nicely lined and secures easily, lots of room for papers and such. I like that there is seperate area for either business stuff or gym clothes even. The padded strap makes carrying it easy even when it is weighted down with stuff. The colors are not too bright, which I was worried about. Will never buy another brand of bag!

I bought the small version 2 months ago and really liked it but found it a little too small for my 12" tablet. It will be perfect for a netbook. This is one is a tad too wide but I am enjoying all the extra space that it offers. I will use this one when I have to carry my 15" laptop. I'll probably buy the medium size too when I find it on sale.
