bought this to carry things down to the pool for resort vacation. Was great, fit lots of stuff and dries quickly. It took me a couple times to figure out how to fold it just right to fit in pouch.

I purchased this bag to haul my laptop and thermos bottles to work everyday but was disappointed by the material when it arrived. it is still a decent bag BUT it really is not built to be durable for heavy loads. A few clothes perhaps but that is it.

Not sure what you could carry in this pack. The product photo makes it look like it has some structure, but really it's just a very lightweight nylon sack. Anything weighing more than a few ounces just wants to bounce out of the side. It does pack up into a little ball, but in my case that's just one extra little ball in my luggage. I can imagine no practical use for this item. Don't buy it.

A good size for a day out or extras while traveling. The only shortfall, the straps are too narrow and there is no padding to soften the load on the shoulders if carrying anything heavy, good for light weight items though. a bit hard to return to its self bag/pocket/storage.

Timbuk2's Hidden Swig pack-sack is made of lightweight but strong material. It expands from a small pouch to a decent size for day use. I'm not sure I'd carry heavy or pointy things in it, not because I think it would rip, but because there is no padding of any kind in this pack, and bulky items would be uncomfortable against one's back. I was looking for a packable backpack for travel, and this would seem to fit the bill, except for the straps. They seem excessively long and numerous for a crushable pack, and it is difficult to stuff the buckles and straps inside the pouch. My kids laughed at the weird shape that resulted when I tried to do this. That said, although this pack is more than I need, I would tend to recommend it for very particular uses such as extra clothing for an outing.
