    My son is in 9th grade and used the same "LL Bean" book pack since kindergarten. The zipper finally gave way and so he was looking for another tough pack with a bit more room for larger books and his flute. He found this Timbuktu to be his portable locker and I expect this bag will last at least another 10 years! Amazingly heavy-duty and very roomy! Pay close attention to the dimensions since it would be too big for many purposes.
