“Nice Bag”

“This seems like a well-made, comfortable, well-designed, good-looking bag at a good Sierra Trading Post price. I like that it self-expands -- when it is empty it lies fairly flat but when you start stuffing things in, it expands to hold at lot (this is the "medium") work papers, kids' clothes and snack and jackets. I give it 4.5 stars. My criticisms are minor. First, I like a handle on top of the bag in addition to the shoulder strap. I also wish the main compartment zippered shut to avoid thing falling out or rain coming in, although I have not had either of those things happen. This bag takes a belt-and-suspenders approach to the flap, which closes with both velcro and straps. This works well, but if you want to just rely on the velcro, you are left with the straps flapping around, otherwise you constantly need to buckle and unbuckle in addition to sealing and unsealing the velcro. All minor.”
