I have been hauling all of my work things around in it since I got it. I hiked to some hotsprings with my Timbuk2 bag loaded down with a thermos and water, a down jacket, a towel and my swimming suit. It worked great! I am excited to use it for my bike commute to work.

I'm using this for my 14" laptop which fits into the sleeve. The laptop sleeve is meant to be for 15" laptops so this bag is a little bit bigger than what I had originally wanted. Even w/ the laptop in the bag, there is plenty of room for a large textbook, a notebook, the laptop charger and a few smaller items (cell phone, pencils, wallet, etc)

I use it for school, it carries my laptop (14.1 screen, with power supply and mouse), 2-3 notebooks, pad of paper, and a text book. The laptop compartment being in the back is very convenient. Laptop compartment is also padded all around.
