I go this bag for riding to school and it works great the side straps keep it on your back and out of my way.its also big enough it carry all my book comfortably.

I use this bag every day on my bike commute. It's roomy enough to carry lunch, my books and papers, and some extra clothes. There are a number of compartments, which are useful for carrying odds and ends. The cross-strap is a nice addition. Highly recommend.

Great bag! Great price! Professional, yet casual looking bag. Just wish it had more than one large compartment. 17" laptop fits perfect in this bag. Great choice for work or school.

Great price on a very useful bag. I wish it had more compartments, like an internal compartment for my laptop but great overall- have used it to haul produce from the farmer's market as well as for work. The extra strap that goes round the side is a great stabilizer for biking!

I purchased this bag after an auto accident left one of my shoulders pretty beat up making it uncomfortable to wear my usual backpack. This bag is huge! The large must be gigantic. At first I thought it may a bit too big for my needs, but it turns out that it's easy to fill up. It can easily fit my laptop, books, lunch, and other personal items.I also love the fact that it is waterproof, no worries if I get caught in the rain. It will be quite handy for my summer bike commute to classes when I am carrying materials for three classes at a time.

I use this bag to take the bus/train to work. It's great for holding reading materials, lunch, water bottle, an extra pair of shoes, scarf and gloves, etc. I really like the pockets inside that are great for smaller things like an ipod, phone, wallet. The front zipper area on the outside is good for a train pass and keys. I wouldn't use this bag if I had to walk far nor for my bike commuting, because a backpack would be more comfortable for longer periods of time. But for commuting it's easy for swinging around to access things and everything stays dry.

I use this bag for commute to work. Enough space for my laptop, lunch, kindle, purse and more. Its a little bigger than I anticipated but I love it.

Our daughter asked for this bag for Christmas; we found it at a better price than the Timbuk2 site.
