Let me begin by saying that I am in pursuit of the perfect bicycle shoe -- durable, stiff sole, sufficiently wide (something that the SIDIs seem to be having problem with recently -- too narrow), comfortable, easy to get in and out of. I have two pairs of the Carnacs that I bought from Sierra (great shoe) that worked out well for me. Decided to try the Times when they got on sale. Great shoe. Checked all of my boxes plus you get features that you would only expect from a high end shoe (specifically, heat fit - you can heat the shoe and then wear it so that the shoe conforms to your foot). When combined with the iClic from Time, a great combination. Try them -- you will like. How much do I like mine? I am getting rid of my SIDIs - how is that for an answer.

STP deos not carry wide. So I had chosen 43.5, but I guess my best size would be 43 wide. Since the shoes have heat fitting system, it work OK for me.

  • Question “Hello,||Do these shoes come with cleats and can i use these shoe with the old Time pedals? Where can I find cleats for these shoes if they don't come with them?||Thank you in advance,||Best regards,”
Asked on 1/6/2013 12:00:00 AM by Avalo from USA

    • Answer The directions for the heat molding process can be found with the shoes in the box. I believe all it takes is a hair dryer and 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy!
