“Lovely clock, but flimsy construction”

“This clock is lovely. I purchased it to add an eccentric charm to my home office and to remind me of my fun travels in Paris. It serves those purposes well. As far as I have noticed, it keeps the time accurately, too. (It runs on 1 AA battery.) My two frustrations are: 1) The color was slightly different than I expected. I thought it would be cream with black accents, but the accents are closer to deep brown than black. 2) The hands are flimsy and the face seems to be MDF with a decorative overlay. It's not soundly constructed by any means. That being said, I do like the clock, especially for the price I paid. If I had paid retail price, however, I would be disappointed.”
