    IT LOOKS NICE, REPLACED MY EXISTING THERMOMETER. NUMBERS ARE A BIT TO SMALL GIVEN THE LOCATION I NEEDED TO PLACE IT FOR VISABILITY FROM INSIDE HOME (SCREEN PORCH).

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    This thermometer is still not inexpensive-and it does not even have a glass face on it. The face is kind of a fiber board with laminated design. This should not be advertised as an outdoor instrument even if it is in a sheltered location.
