This watch is a tease. It looks beautiful but if you wear it for any length of time, the band will abrade your wrist The next day your wrist will hurt way too much to wear it. Pick a different watch.

I'm sure that the watch function is excellent - I understand and appreciate how Timex training watches are formatted. The problem is the watch band and clasp. The metal wings broke out of the (partially plastic) anchoring... It should be the other way around: the anchor should be metal and the band should be supple. But the band is weird otherwise - it's rounded against the wrist, not flat, and the hinged clasp is meant to impress, but is just an incident waiting to happen. I can just imagine an arm motion snagging the clasp against shorts, etc. This watch is over-engineered, certainly not a watch for a distance runner.

Beautiful watch but the metal part of the band cuts into the wrist skin. I get a reddened, abraded area if I wear it for more than 10 hours.

Timex makes the best functioning and most intuitively programmed watches for athletic use. Use this for swimming in the ocean and hoped that the titanium band would hold up better than the rubber. Will wait and see how the clasp holds up.
