I've been wearing Timex Iron(wo)man watches for years. I'm a little concerned about the buttons, they have a higher profile than my pervious watches & when you press on them they seem a little chincier than past models. The workings of the watch typically outlast the band. The band on this model is integral to the unit itself. The bright purple stands out & is much more feminine than I'm used to. I'm a chef on a boat in the Caribbean, with salt & sand & sun exposure everyday all day, we'll see if it holds up like the last 4 watches I've owned.

I don't need a watch that has HR or GPS so this old school Ironman watch is perfect for my trail running. The shape is also very feminine

I just received this watch as a replacement for a Timex Ironman watch. The leather band is nice, no need to fuss with Velcro, plus it adds a bit of class to the look. The face is a nice size, big but not gaudy, and easy to read. I like an analog face, and the small digital display is a convenient addition. I work and play aroun water, and the watch is not phased by it. No diving, but swimming, garden work and whatnot have been no problems. All in all, I'm happy with the watch. It's functional, rugged, but nice enough to be worn out as a dress watch.
