Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I own several pairs of boots. Acme, Dan Post, Naccona and Ariat's. All are a size 12EE. These boots had to be sent back for a 12D. When they returned they are about a half size longer than my other boots. So please order accordingly. Also the shafts on the boots feel like a cheap synthetic although they are leather lined. The boots dont fit well at all. It seems like the instep is too high causing the boot to feel large, when it's actually 1/2 size too small. Not alot of cushioing or support from the thin footbed. The thin shaft makes the boots feel comfortable on the legs, but durability could be an issue. Stick to Ariats or Double H!

Maybe I'll get what I paid for. Overall, I've been disappointed this and prior medium priced TLs. The quality of materials seems to be noticeably less than in similarly priced competitor's boots. Feel on the foot is as if the two boots are not mates. I'll probably stick with the competitors that I like in the future. It is only Sierra Trading Post's great reputation [...] that gives me confidence in my purchase.
