Question “Is the bottom of the shirt banded?”

Answer Yes, but fits like a non-banded sweater. The bottom is a loose fitting "band" that is more like a nicely finished bottom. It is not thicker than the body of the sweater, more of an extension of the whole sweater. It fits great on husband who has a belly. The 'banded' area is several inches high & only sightly 'brings in' the bottom of the sweater closer to the body. Unlike a lot of banded bottoms that super cling and make the tummy area look huge.
