Toscano Polo Sweater - Italian Merino Wool (For Men)

Overall, an excellent sweater. I have an tall, athletic build and have trouble finding shoulder sleeve length combinations that aren't hugely oversized in the waste. This sweater is well-proportioned for my build. I didn't like the black part of the melange at first, but after washing the sweater, I like the effect. It's subtle and prevents the claret color from being overbearing. I almost returned this sweater because the odor was awful: kind of a combination of burnt rubber and wet wool. I pre-soaked, then washed with an odor remover and detergent, and now the sweater looks, smells and feels wonderful. The only other thing to note is the collars which are generous without being dated. Some might find them too big. I think they're just right.

Repeat purchaser of this item. This one for teen-aged son to wear under a sport coat. Just the right weight, nicely finished and versatile. Italian made quality and looks like is cost much more $ than the price at STP. Wash and dry flat.

I wish it was a bit more heavy weight

Good quality material and the wine color is nice. Only one slight problem - it's a little too wide in the body. But, on the whole, a good-looking sweater.

I own several of these sweaters. They are well-made, and work for casual wear, dress-up or at the office. They keep shape well, and the collar remains flat. I personally don't use them casually as they do better with dry cleaning; the wool is relatively thin and I have not have good luck washing them at home. That is my only beef with these otherwise-fine products.

In clothing, I generally preffera bit of room in the fit. This garment is a bit more form fitting than I'm use to. A bit more lenght in the arms and body would be nice.

This polo sweater is very well designed, the wool is a fine quality, and it it really is wearable for many different occasions from more formal to casual.

Pretty nice polo sweater, but I had to return it, as it ran quite large. Probably equivalent to let's say a Brooks Brother polo sweater in XL. May work just fine if you like extra material. Order accordingly.

Versatile for most occassions

Everything about this sweater is great, except that its too big around the collar.
