Vibrant color, marginal fit

Even though the description says "close fit," I was not prepared for how small Toscano sizes sweaters for the Italian market.
My "normal" size in sweaters is on the cusp between a medium and a large, so the "close fit" description dictated ordering a large. Nevertheless, if the large size in this sweater had been sold as a medium, I would consider it a "close fitting" medium. Only the vibrant color and my intended use -- wearing without anything but a tee underneath -- allows it to work.
If you intend to wear this sweater with a dress or other collared shirt, order at least one size larger than normal.
