Toscano

This is a decent shirt for an average to heavy frame. I have an athletic build, so I found the waist too big for my taste by several inches (I'm 33 in"). The shoulders fit well (Medium - I'm 6'2", 190 lbs with medium to broad shoulders). The length was fine. The fabric is not exceptional, but overall the shirt was well-made. For example, the stripes on the pocket were lined up perfectly with the rest of the shirt. If the fit had been better, I would have kept the shirt.

These shorts are excellent for warm-weather, casual wear with a tailored touch. The charcoal shorts I bought have a bluish tint, which I like. It gives the shorts an overall faded indigo look. They're cool and airy. The craftsmanship is very good. The legs are a bit long for my taste (2 inches below the knees on a 6'2" frame). Having them hemmed a bit would still make them a good value.

The color was odd on this shirt, so I returned it. The blue that I ordered had a weird black/aqua melange or tweedy look that I didn't like at all. Too bad, because the cut was very good for a tall, athletic frame. The sleeves were long enough, while the neck and shoulders still fit appropriately - a rarity with my build. The fabric was cool and airy as one would expect. The craftsmanship was above average. Would have been a good value except for the color.

Overall, an excellent sweater. I have an tall, athletic build and have trouble finding shoulder sleeve length combinations that aren't hugely oversized in the waste. This sweater is well-proportioned for my build. I didn't like the black part of the melange at first, but after washing the sweater, I like the effect. It's subtle and prevents the claret color from being overbearing. I almost returned this sweater because the odor was awful: kind of a combination of burnt rubber and wet wool. I pre-soaked, then washed with an odor remover and detergent, and now the sweater looks, smells and feels wonderful. The only other thing to note is the collars which are generous without being dated. Some might find them too big. I think they're just right.

Just a good-looking shirt and fits just great.

Great sweater, last time I ordered this item I washed it and it shrunk so be very careful on how you wash it. Besides that I love it.

Very nice lightweight sweater. Perfect for spring or summer wear.

Repeat purchaser of this item. This one for teen-aged son to wear under a sport coat. Just the right weight, nicely finished and versatile. Italian made quality and looks like is cost much more $ than the price at STP. Wash and dry flat.
