I just wore this dress to my nephew's wedding, so I've tried it out. I have an aging figure, so I was a little skeptical about what I'd look like in a sheath dress, but this one worked well . . . with the help of a dressy black shawl for warmth and to hide some of the bulgy sections in back. (This dress is tailored to lie close to one's body, though, because it's a knit, it isn't uncomfortable and confining.) I very much like the "silver" sheen, and the print is cut on the front panel so that it's centered nicely. I hadn't really registered from the website what the overlock would look like; it adds an interesting touch,. There are more seams than in many dress patterns--the dress is shaped by piecing, not by darts. As someone who sews, myself, I find it an interesting construction.
