nice, lightweight jacket for business travel feels more like a medium rather than small petite

Hmmm, someone had an idea for a jacket that you could wash in the sink, dry and wear without ironing. Fabric reminds me of a polyester shopping bag...but the concept works even in summer heat. It is a good length and could be considered stylish except the shawl collar construction which is part of the front facing, is not tacked down. This opens out or bunches up when wearing. I'll give this a 75% for effort, 30% for execution.

I ordered this in a Petite although I mostly wear a Medium(size 10). It fits fine and will work well with spring and summer slacks or skirts.

I am a petite woman. Even though I purchased a petite size, I'm not too sure of the fit. I may be returning it....not for a smaller size but rather, because it is just kind of boxy.

I really wish that the blazers would have fit me. They were light weight and excellent for travel. I thought that they were attractive on me except that across the shoulders was too tight and so were the upper sleeves. I guess that I have broad shoulders but I got the size that I usually wear and it didn't work for me. If it had fit me correctly, I would have been so pleased!

Most of my clothes are purchased with an eye for classic business wear. Along with that is length. I'm a tall gal, 5 ft. 8, and a little rounded at the hips. A long jacket -- 26 to 27 inches is perfect for me, which this jacket is. Makes me look leaner!! And it works well in the business, corporate environment. Second I've purchased and I'm sure I'll wear both a long time. Also look toward wearing them for business travel. Just love it when put together with a pair of ivory trousers and ivory top, perhaps a scarf for summer wearing when you can wear this to work. Too casual for winter apparel but summer allows for more variation. Thanks, bring more items of this quality to the forefront. Usually wear large, medium fit this time.
