TravelSmith Travel Ensemble - 3-Piece (For Women)

I am planning a trip to Europe this summer and this is the perfect outfit!

I loved the way this outfit looked on the website, and the TravelSmith name is great! Admittedly, it's hard for me to buy clothing without trying on the garment but this just wasn't for me. I looked like a blob but the outfit was too large even through my sizing. Sierra was gracious enough to take it back and refund my money. Because of this, I will purchase many other items from Sierra.

I'd seen this in the Travelsmith catalog and was delighted to find it available through Sierra Trading. But I returned it; unhappy with the fit. Designed for taller women.

Too much fuss with keeping the jacket closed . The belt provided acts like a rope or a ribbon - you can only tie it in a bow or a knot/ both look silly with this ensamble/ I got my own leather belt - that provided a little accent to otherwise very monotonous /boring/outfit. There is too much fabric all over / except the sleeveless shell/ but it isn't really lose and fabric doesn't give. Pants are palazzo pants - have no shape whatsoever - and made me look really bottom heavy. Having said all that - fabric is great,substantial,wrinkle free ,matte, great warm chocolate color. The outfit needs some work to be attractive ,but in my opinion it is worth the trouble.

A good buy for instant,very average outfit that might become a mainstay. Not for the trendy...more matronly.

great for office wear. washes well. really basic classic office wear.

It's polyester but travels well and finding matching brown is no small thing. Jacket design is kind of confusing, Like the medium weight for fall and spring.

TravelSmith products run small so you have to order larger; problem for me on this 3 piece is the shell tank fit but the jacket & pants too large. If it would have fit would have LOVED it.

The jacket hangs oddly whether tied or not tied. I am returning it - it isn't attractive at all. Too bad - the pants and shell are very neat and comfortable.

The pants and shell are very basic, but the wrap jacket has an large, floppy collar. Perhaps on a model it would look "interesting" but on an average person it looked strange. Together, the brown color and wrap effect gave the ensemble sort of a Jedi knight look, which is not what I was going for. It was so reasonably priced, though, that I kept it to wear the pants and shell with another jacket. The blend is 92% polyester with just a little rayon, so it may not breathe well in warmer weather.
