Towards the end of 5 minutes the jacket was leaking across the shoulders, through the arms wherever my skin was touching. The zipper, even with a storm flap provides very little protection.

I have worn this both for errands in downpours and hiking in steady drizzle/sprinkling. Keep in mind that the jacket will not prevent chill. It's surprising how cold you can get in a steady rain even if you're dry! I prefer to wear long sleeves under it. Excellent price.

I'll have to leave it open or only wear something thin under it. too snug. I do like the fact that it folds small and has a drawstring sack to store it in. will fit well in a suitcase. a bit wrinkle-y but I don't think that will matter as it will get wet anyway.
