The boots themselves are great, but I find it highly annoying that you can never find this type of boot in half sizes. I'm an 8 1/2 and I know the size 9 would be too big and the size 8 I got could be just a tad larger. Since I don't wear them for long periods of time I just deal with it.

I would not hike in these, but I purchased them for dog walking on wet grass and muddy trails. I love them for that. Quite comfy on my bare feet, and i think with warm socks they'll be good in the early winter or whenever it is a bit messy outside. They are cute enough I would wear them out to run errands too.

I just received these in the mail, so I haven't tested them in the rain, but did want to comment on sizing. I typically wear an 8.5 (sometimes even an 8), but figured I'd give these a shot in the size 9/40 b-c I liked the style and the price was right. In spite of the instruction to order down for half sizes (and reviews on other sites that said they run large), these fit great. Maybe I just have weird feet, but I think that if I had ordered a size down (had it been available) these would have been too tight.
Like most rainboots, these don't have much in the way of arch support, but the soles feel kind of squishy under your feet. I'm hoping the fuzzy lining keeps them from feeling clammy during extended wear.
