Tretorn

I just received these in the mail, so I haven't tested them in the rain, but did want to comment on sizing. I typically wear an 8.5 (sometimes even an 8), but figured I'd give these a shot in the size 9/40 b-c I liked the style and the price was right. In spite of the instruction to order down for half sizes (and reviews on other sites that said they run large), these fit great. Maybe I just have weird feet, but I think that if I had ordered a size down (had it been available) these would have been too tight. Like most rainboots, these don't have much in the way of arch support, but the soles feel kind of squishy under your feet. I'm hoping the fuzzy lining keeps them from feeling clammy during extended wear.

Very interesting light cloth mesh, same tretorn fit, i.e., narrow enough for people like me who have trouble wearing cheap sneakers which are always too wide.

good boots - sizing off

Not good fit for arthritic feet, but really lovely boots and quality construction. My orthotics did not fit well enough for a comfortable fit. Alas, my feet are the problem, not the boots.

Very fine material.

I got these for my boyfriend, who has pretty wide feet, and they fit him really well. He really likes them. The shoes are really white when you first get them, but I think with time they will be less abrupt. Also, the shoe seems like it's a really nice quality and will last for a while, especially as opposed to a canvas shoe.

I have been looking at boots from Tretorn for a while, and finally decided on these. I was hoping these would work for wearing during short trips or walks and maybe as occasional all-day boots at my bus. casual office. They work well for both. I won't wear these all day, every day, but they are great for walking the dog, trips to the store or for partial-day wearing. Pretty comfortable (not much support) and warm with a bit of style. The price was right, and I will probably buy another pair next year.

Was unsure about these shoes at time of purchase, but I love them. I wear them far more than I expected. These are the first white sneakers that I've ever loved. I've done everything from run a 5k in these (wasn't planned) to wear them on a date into a five star steakhouse. If you think you'll like the style, you may very well love these. Classic Tretorn style, they are flat shoes. Hardly any 'support' to speak of, and that's part of what makes them quality. Nothing wasteful in the design here. Good luck!

I've been buying these shoes for over a year. Each pair lasts me about 7 months and I decided to just buy a bunch at once.

My husband is looking for rubber boots to wear while he does yard work but didn't want to spend too much. I saw these and liked the price and the way they looked. They are still sylish if he wanted to wear them with regular clothes on a rainy day. These are a xmas gift so I can't say much about sizing yet but there is a great return policy. I received them on time. They are well constructed as far as I can tell. Item is exactly as described by the seller.
