Closeouts. Quality this exact takes years to hone; consider Tricker's Poe algonquian split-toe penny loafer shoes a gem in the crown of one of London's premier shoemakers, handmade in the United Kingdom with a leather upper and sleek, refined lines.

I was hoping to buy a great penny loafer that is of the best quality. When I received it I saw a nice pair of shoes but nothing that special. I tried the shoes on. And even though I bought the shoes 1/2 size down the shoes were too big and uncomfortable. I then sent them back and downsized a full size . When I got the new pair it was uncomfortable. I sent it back. Bottom line is that the reviews do not reflect my experience.

Shoes are beautiful and extremely well-constructed. I believe that buying quality shoes and paying the price is worth it in the long-run. Assuming these shoes wear as I expect they will, I anticipate enjoying the Tricker's for years to come.
Shoes do run large. Follow the recommendations of others and size down.

This is my third pair of Trickers. they are never discounted unless you buy from Sierra Trading Post! Fantastic hand made shoe. However, this style runs big. I ordered a half size down and it's still a little loose. FYI.

I thought for a while before purchasing these shoes and a sale price made it happen. Right out of the box the fit, style and finish are top notch. After the first wear, I'm happy, no break-in needed, very comfortable. I will recommend this brand and this style..

lovely shoes - my other ready to wear english shoes are all 10.5 or 11 UK (church's, RTW lobb's). I ordered 10.5 UK initially, returned for the 10 UK and keeping those though they are probably just a touch large. terrific price on rarely discounted merchandise - thanks!
