loved the zippers on the coat and the hood which I was really looking for when I walked in the cold wind that just beats you. The material was very warm but tooo rough. Sent it back

I gave this 5 stars because the problem with the fit is really my issue. I bought the small because that is all they had. I am a 4 in the hips but an 8 through the chest. This coat is tight in the chest. I have a long down coat I wear in the really cold Chicago Winters so this is a Fall/Spring coat for me. I only wear a long sleeve shirt under it. I had to take out the shoulder pads and cut and sewed the breast pockets. This makes it fit a little better through the chest. If you are larger up top than on the bottom this will be an issue. It is not roomy on top compared to the bottom. I love the fit otherwise and love the quality of the wool and the length. I really love that it has a hood.

This coat is sized 8/10, but is definitely more of an 8. It has a tighter fit.

coat must of been returned originally, it had a stain on the inside collar the buckel was tarnished and the zipper has a hard time zippering, had to have it replaced...

This is a very attractive and stylish coat. I think it would be perfect for someone who is tall and thin, as it is slim fitting. I am 5 ft tall and 102 lbs and the Medium was snug - I could not fit a sweater or vest under (although a younger person would like this fit because it is slimming looking). It was too long for me, and awkward to close, since the zipper was at the bottom. However, it is a beautiful coat, and the style is very fashionable and youthful. I am disappointed it did not work out for me, but it is a quality item.

This coat looks great and is as warm as expected for a wool coat. It suits all occasions. The fitted shape is very flattering and leaves just enough room for a sweater of medium thickness, which makes the coat snug but not terribly so. As others have reported, the hood sits nicely when not worn and the fur trim looks great as a collar. The hood along with a zipper and snaps that end the chin add to the warmth. The low price is a terrific bonus, although one consequence is that the wool and the lining are a bit rough. Not a surprise, but I would definitely pay more for this design in a better material. Details are good; zippers and snaps work although are a bit stiff. If you don't have this coat and are looking for a fitted one, grab it before it sells out!

I bought this coat to wear on special occasions, but I find that I like to wear it all the time. I wear it to work, which includes a half mile walk outside in upstate New York weather, and it's very warm! One annoying thing is that it collects lint like crazy, and I always have a lint brush on hand now. In the beginning, I didn't care for how heavy it was compared to my down coat. It keeps me just as warm, though, and it looks much better!

This is a very nice coat. The only reason I didn't keep it is I was afraid it would not be warm enough. It was alittle tight with just a shirt and thin sweater and I was looking for something to wear when I'm bundled up in a heavy sweater outside when its five degrees.

I am very happy with my purchase great coat for a low cost!

I like the practical features: zipper as well as buttons, hood, side zips, breast pocket. Its not too heavy, has decent wind blocking ability (as experienced on a blustery, cold Dec. day in MN) and has a classic, stylish design (not too trendy) that should wear for many years
