Trotters Megan Casual Shoes - Slip-Ons (For Women)

These were very narrow and tight through the front. I had to return them.

I've always liked this brand, and these were no exception, but they were just a bit too long.

Will be returning the shoes since they are a bit snug and stiff.

I have found that Trotters are not always true to size. Each pair of shoes although same style and size will not fir the same.

Always happy to find a good shoe in a Narrow, I slipped them on right out of the box, and they were immediately comfortable. However, wary of past mistakes repeating themselves, I walked around the house with them to be sure the comfort lasted. It did. However, when I took them off, the ridges across the top had already formed, leaving an imprint of my instep that would have made it difficult to impossible to return. They already had the tell-tale signs of being worn. On the plus side, they are great to wear with jeans or a skirt. They are as comfortable as slippers. For me, the plus is that I have something to slip on at a moment's notice; however, on the minus side, I've grown accustomed to expecting more arch support and "foundation" in a shoe; and these shoes do not provide any support. They do breathe; however, and on a hot summer day, I will be glad to have them to slip into. They are keepers, but with the caveats listed above.

This loafer was what I have looked high and low for because it has a great weave and color leather upper with a leather sole (you cannot find leather soles, anymore). I prefer a rounded toe to a square toe as this shoe slips on easily until you get to the toes. Hard to get the toes into the front of the shoe. I am hoping that they will stretch so that they will truly be slip-ons?!

I already spent an evening in these shoes in perfect comfort. They are also very attractive, will be one of my favs.

Versatile in that the shoe looks good with dress pants and allows for confort on long days.
