Verified Buyer Reviewed by bossy from Gilford, NH on Sunday, January 6, 2013The vest has a soft, appealing fake fur lining. The outer shell material is soft but windproof. It has a nice, quality ambiance about it. It is bulky looking, but that doesn't matter to me.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ruth from Oneida Wi on Thursday, October 4, 2012Had to return because it makes me look like a short eskimo
- Best Uses: Casual Wear
- Cons: Bulky, Poor Fit
- Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser
- Pros: Soft
- Sizing: Feels too large
- Was this a gift?: No
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Char in the Adirondacks from Jay, NY on Saturday, December 31, 2011as mentioned before, manufactureres these days will not tailor their garments to the female figure (one with breasts), so I had to order xlarge. Why is it so difficult to produce things for women who aren't built like boys??
- Pros: Feels very warm no bulk
Verified Buyer Reviewed by jes from batesburg, s.c. on Friday, November 18, 2011The sherpa lining is sooo warm. It is a classic fit so I can wear it under jackets as well. If you like your vest loose...not for you
Reviewed by nelhig from Paonia, CO on Monday, October 31, 2011I live in down vests during the winter and thought this particular non-down vest would be a nice change. It is that and I love the feel of the inside, but I am returning the M for a L because it is too tight across the chest. I am not even that big busted, but it feels like it is the cut of the vest more than anything. I always wear sweaters with my vests, so Large will hopefully be the ticket. Also, the pockets are positioned too far back which feels strange to put one's hands back that far. Maybe this is the defect. I'm surprised there's a shipping cost to exchange, but since I got this vest discounted and I do like the look overall, I guess I won't argue the point.
