“Not certain how these will compare with my favorite MSR ascents (best product IMO), BUt, I look forward to playing with them come snow. My concern is tha the front crampon is not secured adequitly. It is also made of aluminum which could get abused on mixed routes. The price could not be resisted to give these a try, MSR's are getting up there in price...Scout parents have a lot to shell money out to, these may help. I hope we don't experince any issue with the crampon. I like the side blades and heel lift , the bindings are interesting but seem pretty durable. Fingers crossed.”
