    Already have a pair of TSL 227's. The 325's I bought for packed trails with steep climbs. Not sure how they will be with deep snow..kind of small. TSL's are pretty rugged snowshoes and are used all over Europe. Not sure about the ratchet strap in the toe box area. Tried it with different boots and seems to work but haven't had the chance to use it in snow. The ratchet strap on the 227's have seen much use and still works well. Overall the TSL's are a little heavier than some aluminum shoes but the binding system really sells these snowshoes. They are easy to put on and off even with mittens and gloves and best yet, there is no heel float.
