Very happy with the snowshoes, but haven't used them. A practice run trying our boots in the shoes took some time but we found 3 ways to adjust for size. One reviewer was worried about her size 10 boots barely fitting, but our 10 and 11 size boots do fit. Now, having said that, it requires elongating something under the shoe and my hope is that this is indeed sturdy.

It took me a while to work out how to fit the boots correctly, but once done, the snowshoes were great to use, very light and secure on all terrain - much easier than X-country skis! It sure beats the high cost of ski lifts and allows to explore areas not usually possible with skis, great fun.

I just got these and haven't used them yet. I can already tell that they have much better traction than the basic snowshoes I was using. The only problem I have is that the heel strap is almost not big enough. I put it on the biggest size and still have to squeeze my size 10 boots in. Be cautious with these if you have big feet like me!

Haven't tried them yet and can't wait for the snow! A little bit of a learning curve to get the hang of adjusting the bindings, but end result is a really secure fit! I can work the ratcheting strap, as well as the heel elevating system, with my gloves on. Crampons look beefy and well positioned.

Both my wife and I bought the TSL "Over the Top" snowshoes. Since we don't have snow yet I can't attest to the performance but looking at the TSL it looks sturdy and has a sure fitting binding. The hinge moves flawlessly and I would think it would perform very well in all conditions. Being made in the USA is a big plus.
