    Pros:
    Lightweight
    Cons:
    Difficult Entry & Exit
    Describe Yourself:
    Beginner
    Sizing:
    Feels full size too small
    Was this a gift?:
    No
    Width:
    Feels true to width
    Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I have used different types of snowshoes. I was excited to use a women specific shoe, however the bindings have a toe cap that the boot must fit in. I have two pairs of boots, one pair of packs and another lighter boot. Neither would fit in the toe cap. The ones with open toe bindings are better so I exchanged for a Redfeather women specific shoe. Other than the toe cap issue, these seem like really great shoes and I would have loved to keep them.

Very difficult to adjust hard plastic heal strap. Retainer tab broke at first use. Bindings hard to enter/exit and adjust properly. Would not purchase again.

With the icy hardpacked conditions these enabled me to travel safely and confidently on steeper slopes. They are snowshoes with aggressive crampons, wickedly good! Were great on the flats and rolling sections, too. I don't know how they will do in deep snow as we have none (sigh), but I bet they will also perform well in powder and Sierra Cement. I appreciated the ease in which I could tighten or loosen the straps. My only suggestion applies to all snowshoes/boots: Apply silicone spray to soles of boots and the snowshoe heel plates as this will eliminate snow/ice packing under the boot. Oh, yeah, at first I thought the toe set up was too small, but it worked just fine. My boot's toe did not move out of position at all. I got the toe section set and then set the heel size to 3 on the heel plate, this made the system function perfectly. Sweet!
