Just got these in the mail, so it will be 1-2 months until they get put to use. I'm not sure why other reviewers had a difficult time figuring out the TSL bindings; just take a couple minutes at home to acquaint yourself, and not attempt it standing in the snow. The quick-release lever binding is pretty cool, actually. The artistic design online wasn't obvious to me, but as cheesy as it sounds the deer on the toe area is a cute surprise.

Took tem out last weekendfor the 1st time. They where great on the lake, took them up a steep hill to the top of a ridge, worked great, just a little slipage but overall good traction. The small desigen worked well through the woods easy to get around. Loved the way they secure to my foot, other snowshoes tend to fall off occasionaly, these are very secure, easy on off once you adjust them to your boot.

Both my wife and I got this model and are very happy with them We have been out in the snow the last 5 weekends in a row. I think they will last a lifetime. The binding is very secure (the main reason for the purchase) and the gripping power is really great.
