TSL

Both my wife and I bought the TSL "Over the Top" snowshoes. Since we don't have snow yet I can't attest to the performance but looking at the TSL it looks sturdy and has a sure fitting binding. The hinge moves flawlessly and I would think it would perform very well in all conditions. Being made in the USA is a big plus.

What a great buy these are. I bought a pair last year and used them this last spring when we got dumped on by over 3.5 feet of snow. It was the only way to get around. With the easy entry and exit binding it was a no brainer on getting in and out of them. I also photograph and carry a 30lb back pack full of gear and the 30" shoes with my 160lb body kept me above the deep snow. The traction is awesome and if your heading up steep sloops all is needed is to flip up the heel extenion and your on your way. Great product with out the high doller name.

The TSL Rando snowshoes are good basic snowshoes for beginners or intermediates who do not use snowshoes a lot. They are stable on flat or rolling ground but not so good on steeper slopes unless you are going straight up (ie not so good for sideways stability on steep slopes - not designed for this. I would buy them again.

No complaints other than we don't have enough snow. Two of us have the snow shoes we like them so much!

My girlfriend is only upset because the snow is gone and she can't use them until next winter.

Bought these to explore our back 40 and they are great,easy to put on and go for a walk in the snow. Could use a little bigger snow shoe for deeper snow but worked o.k. for shorter walks.

They are really very nice. I was concerned about the pink but its not really shoocking, but they are pink. Comes in nice storage bag included for future use. I like the amultiple area djustable straps.

If you don't mind pink then you will love these snowshoes. Easy to strap in and do not bang your shins or throw snow on your back! Heel lift helps in climbing steeper pitches.

I compared them to Redfeathers, Tubbs, and others at my local recreational equipment outlet. These have superior bindings with a greater adjustment range, more aggressive crampons, and far better overall construction for the money. The bindings pivot on metal rings rather than being riveted to a strap, which looks like it will wear better. The bindings fit perfectly around the contours of my Columbia Bugabootoo’s.
