    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    THESE ARE NOT SHORTS -- they're pants with a strap/buckle near the bottom of the legs that enable wearer to roll pant legs up to long capri length (at best). Nicely made and fit well, but I thought I was ordering shorts as described. The product numbers on the package and online catalogue match, so it's the description that is inaccurate.
