Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Reviewed by 10Ring from Montana on Monday, December 2, 2013These snowshoes are very well made. Two of the most important things I was looking for were ease in and out of the bindings, and security of the binding once tightened up. These are very simple shoes to get into and out of, and most importantly don't require you to "fidget" with them every few minutes to keep them secure. Once tightened they stay in place. All the other features are nice also, like the heel lift, but Tubbs definitely got the main things right with this shoe.
Reviewed by Ptarmigan hunter from Sweden on Tuesday, April 9, 2013I've had no experience of walking with snowshoes before so it was with excitement I waited to try these snowshoes out in the snow. I've heard so many pros and cons about walking with snowshoes and I didn't know what to expect. I tried to find out as much as possible about what to chose before I ordered these Tubbs Expedition 30" and I can only say that I'm very pleased with how they work in snow. They seem to be enough strong built to being able to stand tough conditions like in the mountains where I will use them during ptarmigan hunting. And I will also have them with me wereever I go with my snow mobile.
