Question “I was considering puchasing this product for myself. I am a woman but I want a nice terry cloth robe for getting out of our outside hot tub in the winter. My fiance just got one from LLBean for Christmas and I love it but they are all out of them for the season. I was looking for something comparable. I am usually a small in women's clothes but I think a robe would be fine big for wrapping up to dry after the hot tub. Is the size small in this robe actually comparable to small's in other men's robes or does it run large as everyone commented?”

Answer They do run big and you will need to be aware of the length as it will be about 53" long.

Answer While I have only tried the medium, I think a men's small would be probably be too large for what you are looking for. The men's medium is comparable in size to a men's large in other clothing. I would assume the men's small would be comparable in size to a men's medium in other clothing. If you are looking for something in a ladie's small size, this will probably be too large for you. If you like your robes big and long (I am 6'2" and this one comes down to about 3" above my ankles), this one would due. If you are looking for a trimmer, ladies fit near a ladies size small, this will probably be too large for you. On the positive side, this robe is very thick and warm so using it for an outside, winter hot tub would be a perfect use for it.

Answer As a man, I usually wear a XL so I got the XL robe. They are big but in a comfortable way. I could have gotten away with a large. But, still these robes are incredible! I have been telling all my friends to order them if they have their size. I LOVE them! I hope they get more in stock, so I can order some other colors. You need to order it! You will be disappointed if you don't. I have been looking for these robes for about 6 months. The quality of these robes far out does any that I have seen at the high-end stores. You will not be disappointed! Enjoy!

Answer Sizing runs huge. Size S still too big for a 6'3" man. Avoid this product as it's proportions are very awkward.

Answer It is 100% cotton so it will shrink some unless you wash and dry it on a low temperature.

Answer After washing the medium is 54" from shoulder seam to hem and the sleeve is 23" armpit to wrist, (I roll mine up one flip, it stays that way just fine).
