High quality leather and metal (no plastic) hardware. This is a well-made bag as far as it goes, but without any internal or external secure pockets except for the main zipper. The two external pockets have no closure and there are no internal closures or flaps. This might not work so well if organisation or security are important.

I recently went to Turkey for three weeks and used this bag as my carry on. It held all I needed in flight; books, meds.,refresher kit,passport and itinerary,Ipad,etc. Good looking, sturdy, classic bag. I'm thinking of buying another so I'm never without one.

I wanted a bag to file my music for my swing band. I needed something, not overly bulky where I could file my music. There are not compartments inside, but I use my own file separators to arrange the music. It is a nice size and nice looking bag. It would be nice for a teacher or professor to use for carrying papers etc. back and forth to school. For my purposes it fits the bill. I would not have paid the original cost for the bag as it seemed rather costly, yet I feel the bag will last me a long time. I am happy with the bag.

I wanted a durable bag I could use to carry music back and forth for rehearsals and gigs. I bought dividers before ordering the bag so I can put things in order by alphabet. Thus, I didn't really need dividers. If you are looking for lots of inside dividers this bag is not for you. Yet, it is made well for the discounted cost I paid for it. It serves my purposes well and will last me a long time. Yet, I would not pay the original cost, (without the discount) as I would have considered that a bit pricey for this bag. Yet, I am pleased that I have a durable bag, not overly big that will carry my music for a long time. This would be a great bag for a professional person. The extra pockets on the outside are also very nice. I am happy my music has a safe place and can be organized. I play with a swing band so I need someplace to keep the music when traveling to and from gigs.

I use this bag daily for commuting back and forth to the office and for business travel. Very high quality workmanship and material. Needs much more details and pockets inside -- the sewn in leather "pen slots" and single "card pocket" are ;pitiful and of little to no utility. The inside does not reflect the quality of the outside or the workmanship in general.

Stylish leather bag for business use, not overly large but will fit a laptop and files.

Unfortunately I was just diagnosed with arthritis in my spine and had to exchange for a lighter bag.
